Le Mas de Michel

Surrounded by 12 acres of organic vineyard named ‘Coteaux du Luberon’, Le Mas de Michel is a large eighteenth century house, completely renovated, that offers quiet surroundings ensuring you a pleasant stay. This beautiful house with its timeless charm has 300 sq. meters of living space distributed over two floors. The decoration is a subtle blend of modern and traditional. A piano and an electric charging point are also available.

Indoors

Upper level:
There you will find a 48m² living room with direct access to the East side of the property and the swimming pool. A TV with home theatre surround system and HIFI as well as cozy fireplace await you here. A well equipped modern kitchen with cooking range, dishwasher, refrigerator etc.. will enable you to prepare your meals in comfort
The adjoining dining room, decorated in ‘provençal’ style, can accommodate 10 people at a large refectory table. A renaissance dresser, a chest with sliding doors and a ‘marseillaise’ fireplace complete the furniture.
A large hall links the kitchen – dining room, the living room and the upstairs bedrooms and the stairs that lead to the lower level. There is also access to a toilet from this hall.
– The ‘Violet’ bedroom with ensuite bathroom features a four poster bed (160 x 200cm). The bathroom is equipped with bathtub, bidet, washbasin and toilet.
– The ‘Srinagar’ bedroom has twin beds (90 x 200cm). The adjoining bathroom has a shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet.

Lower level:
A main entrance with stairs will lead you to the upper level. An independent entrance provides access to a bathroom with shower and toilet for the occupants of the two bedrooms on this floor: the ‘Comte’ bedroom and the ‘Lili’ bedroom.
– The ‘Comte’ bedroom has a double (160 x 200cm) bed.
– The ‘Lili’ bedroom has (90 x 200cm) twin beds, a small bathroom and gives direct access to the main entrance.
Also on this level with independent access from the courtyard:
– A vaulted bedroom with a double (160 x 200cm) bed and an adjoining thirties style spacious bathroom with marble bath, bidet, washbasin and dressing table. This bedroom is equipped with TV with home theatre surround system. A compact well equipped kitchen with washing machine and dryer.

Note : not all rooms have access to wifi.
All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets.

Outdoors

On the East side: in front of the house, there is a lovely sunny terrace which is the ideal place to have your breakfast. You can either relax in the shade of the pergola or enjoy the swimming pool (10 x 4m). From there the views are breathtaking! The swimming pool is open from 1 May to 1 October (with the possibility of using the heat pump if necessary).
On the South side: the terrace looks out onto vineyards and the ‘garrigue’. There, you will have the use of a fully equipped barbecue with an electric grill and a plancha to cook your food.
In the courtyard: this shady courtyard gives access to some of the rooms on the lower level as well as to a small kitchen.
On the West side: the main feature is the lush vegetation, a cypress hedge that will protect you from the mistral wind. This is the ideal place to enjoy the sunset.

Note

Some exterior walls (pool side) are treated with anti-insecticide. The presence of insects remains possible because the mas is in the middle of nature. We would also like to inform you that the vineyards in the vicinity are also treated « BIO » for the preservation of bio-diversity.
