Podere Case

Situated on a hilltop with sweeping views over the Val d'Orcia, Podere Case is surrounded by 3 hectares of landscaped gardens. Terraces for alfresco dining are paved with stone from the Arezzo town square and offer stunning views. Attached is an outdoor oven and barbecue. There's a heated infinity pool and separate whirlpool. The kitchen garden produces delicious fresh produce that guests are free to pick.

The exteriors

Solar-powered infinity pool (20 x 4 meters) with jetstream and vanishing edge. Pool heated by solar panels to 28/30°C (82/86°F) in summer and 24-26°C (75/79°F) in mid-season, depending on the weather. A dedicated boiler can raise the temperature further, if required. Other panels produce domestic hot water and heat the spa.
For the 2018 season, the pool has been converted to a saltwater system.

Interiors

The 650 m² house can accommodate up to 19 people in 8 very spacious bedrooms: 2 twin beds, 5 doubles and a mezzanine bedroom containing a sofa bed, a double bed and two single beds. Integrated air-conditioning in each room.

FIRST FLOOR
Entrance hall to corridor with two doors to outside living room and dining room. Staircase to second floor.
Guest laundry (washing machine and dryer).
The kitchen can accommodate up to twelve people. Double doors open onto the front drive.
Dining room with built-in buffet can comfortably accommodate the house. Open the kitchen doors.
Large living room with fireplace and seating for 16. Desk and shelves with flat-screen TV with satellite and DVD, VCR, CD player. Double doors open onto lawn and dining terrace.
Guest bathroom.
Empire room: King-size double room with en suite bathroom (open shower cubicle).
External bedroom: twin room (can become double) with walk-in shower. Private entrance to open-air living room.

FIRST FLOOR
Master suite (king bed) with dressing room.
Separate bathroom with shower room (carved hip stone bathtub, wall-mounted shower) and toilet.
Mezzanine bedroom suite: living room with sofa bed (complete) and SAT TV + multimedia equipment. Open staircase leads to attic with double bed (full), plus twins (can combine) on rollers. En-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Ideal for children, a couple preferring to be close to their child, or a nanny with children.
North bedroom: Double (king) bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom (bath with wall-mounted shower).
Corner room: King-size double room with en-suite bathroom (small bath with wall-mounted shower, high sides).
Chambre dans la tour: Twin-bedded room with en suite bathroom, bathtub with wall-mounted shower.
Chambre Amiata: Second master suite (king) with separate bathroom (bathtub with wall-mounted shower, separate toilet).

Railway station (CHIUSI -CHIANCIANO TERME) with trains to Rome and Florence: 25 minutes.
Florence airport 1 hour 30; Rome Fiumicino airport 2 hours, Pisa airport 2.5 hours. Private jets also serve Siena airport (1 hour) and some airlines Perugia airport (1h30).
