Villa Alma de Comporta

In a nutshell

Located in Muda-Comporta and just 5-10 minutes from the beaches of Carvalhal and Pego, this modern, newly-built villa with private pool boasts 5 en-suite bedrooms and a self-contained apartment. Its spacious, designer interiors blend beautifully with the surrounding 12 hectares of pine forest. The various wooden terraces are framed by olive trees, Mediterranean shrubs and aromatic herbs, giving off wonderful aromas day and night. Facing due south, the villa enjoys magnificent light and sunsets over the gardens. The various terraces offer magical spaces for relaxing at different times of the day. The house is designed to accommodate 10 people (+ 2 extra on request). Outside high season, it is possible to rent the villa for 6 people (the upper floor will be closed).

Bedroom 5 - Self-contained apartment:
Bedroom. The room offers 2 beds including 1 sofa bed, 1 double bed. Private bathroom with shower. Room also includes: living room.

Lhe interiors

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and the open-plan apartment has its own open-plan living room. The master bedroom, on the second floor, has a large private terrace and an ultra-spacious bathroom with panoramic windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. All rooms are equipped with heating/air-conditioning and cooling systems.

The villa's main living room boasts double-height ceilings, allowing plenty of light to flood in, while the furniture is cleverly positioned around the interior olive trees.
 

GROUND FLOOR

The communal area comprises an open-plan kitchen / bar service and dining room / and a living room with fireplace. This room opens onto terraces on three sides of the house: the pool, a terrace for al fresco dining and another relaxation area with a fireplace for chilly nights. Utility room.
As well as 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, each with its own bathroom, fitted closets and individual terrace.
The self-contained apartment is ideal for personal use and comprises a living/dining room with double sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchenette on a wooden terrace, double bedroom and bathroom with shower.

FIRST FLOOR
A master suite with dressing room, walk-in closets and mini-bar; large marble bathroom with double sinks, two showers, panoramic bathtub and additional outdoor shower. This room also benefits from a large private terrace.

Bed sizes (Master bedroom 2 x 2 meters, 3 double beds 1.60 x 2 meters, 2 twin beds 0.90 x 2 meters, 1 sofa bed 1.40 x 2 meters).

The exteriors 

Guests can also take advantage of a tennis court and the villa's beautiful swimming pool (18 x 6 meters and 1.50 meters x 2.00 meters deep), with Roman steps, outdoor shower and 12 deckchairs as well as 2 parasols.

Staff & Services

A welcome basket is included (water, wine, fruit, cheese, milk, coffee, tea, bread, sugar, salt and pepper, olives, soaps, toilet paper, cleaning essentials such as washing-up liquid, dishwasher detergent, spare light bulbs, candles, matches, citronella candles for terraces, mosquito repellent gadgets).
Linen and pool towels are provided and changed weekly.

Situation

Just south of Lisbon, this part of Portugal's coast offers a magnificent array of fine, unspoilt sandy beaches in a rustic, picturesque scene where rice farming, fishing and salt production still abound. Of course, this also brings a few mosquitoes to the area, but take the right precautions during your stay and the charm of the place will take over.
You can ride horses on the sand dunes, watch dolphins on the estuary, hire bikes, cruise between the rice fields and stroll around Comporta's fashionable old fishing village.

Note

Please note that due to the lack of protection around the terraces and swimming pool, only children over 7 years of age are accepted in this establishment.
In summer, a daily cleaning service is included (every day except Sunday).
Barbecues are not permitted due to the risk of fire.
