Villa Balitx

In summary 

Located in the beautiful village of Fornalutx (several times named “The most beautiful village in Spain), Villa Balitx is originally from the 11th century but was restaured in 2019 with respect given to the original features of the house, to keep the authenticity of the house. This traditional Mallorquin setting can accomodate comfortably 10 guests in 5 ensuite bedrooms.

Room 1

Room 3
Master bedroom, 1st floor, view of the mountains. This bedroom has 1 double bed. Bathroom ensuite, with bathtub, shower. WC in the bathroom. This bedroom includes also fireplace.

Room 4
Room, 2nd floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom.

Room 5
Room, 2nd floor. The bedroom has 2 Beds including 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom.

Indoors

The villa is an old traditional stone house with a very good interior light quality thanks to the big windows and the numerous doors leading to the terraces, letting the sun enters all day long.
On the first floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen and its round dining table. You can access the terrace with outdoor seating, perfect to enjoy your meals uner the sun.
Next to the kitchen, there is the main dining room, with a large jacaranda table seating 12 people. You will also find a piano, a fireplace and the living room with a lot of sofas and armchairs in front of another fireplace. 
From the main stairwell there is access to a big guest bathroom with a shower.
Finally, on the very top of the house is the studio with amazing views over the rooftops of Fornalutx, the mountains and the valley. It’s a big space, ideal for activities like yoga, readings or spending time with friends. The studio is also equipped with a chromecast enabled projector and is often used as a home cinema during the nights.

Outdoors

The terrace, accessible from the kitchen is shaded by grapevine and bougainvillea. You can also relax in the plunge pool of approx 15 square metres and a depth of 2,20 m. From the terrace there is access to the courtyard garden.
Just outside the studio is a roof terrace of approx 25 square metres equipped with a garden table, sun chairs and an outdoor shower for cooling on hot days. The terrace is perfect for pre-dinner drinks and snacks.

Rental 

From the villa you have immediate access to the historic narrow alleys of Fornalutx with its flowers, small stores and restaurants. Soller valley offers endless opportunities for hiking, bicycling or simply enjoying the lush green landscape with it’s creeks and orange groves. Port de Soller and a swim in the ocean is only 15 minutes away by car.
Sa Posada de Balitx offers a historic yet modern holiday with walking trails literally starting outside the house and with Soller and Port the Soller within walking distance. Deia and Palma can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car.
