Interiors and exteriors

When you arrive at this property, you'll be fascinated by the tropical rice fields surrounded by palm trees. You can regularly admire peacocks and buffaloes while enjoying the magnificent sounds of birdsong and nature.

Recently completed, and set amidst rice paddies, Villa Brinda has its own kitchen garden and herbs. The house has a half-moon shape and consists of two adjacent buildings.

Walking onto the white colonnaded veranda, it's easy to admire the thoughtful planning of this property and note that all interior space is sealed with glass windows and well-fitted teak frames so that rooms can be efficiently cooled by air conditioning and fans, minimizing visiting mosquitoes and providing optimal light and views over the paddy.

The veranda is furnished with a soft 3-seater sofa and a round table with wicker chairs and two poufs. The large dining table seats 10 (but can be extended to seat 16).

Beyond the veranda is the living room with colorful artwork, a sofa adorned with scattered cushions, comfortable armchairs and a dedicated office area. Beyond the living room is the kitchen, fully equipped and well-appointed, and on the other is an adjoining marble bathroom with walk-in shower. The comfortable, chic TV room shares access to the bathroom and features multi-cushioned sofas, which can eventually be used as a bed for two children.

The yoga shala is at the end of the garden boundary and offers a 360-degree view of the rice paddies.

In front of the house is a large T-shaped infinity pool, eco-friendly, chlorine-free and balanced with a mixture of copper and minerals. There are six movable sun loungers and a phenomenal view of the pool. Just beyond the pool, a well-tended vegetable and herb garden allows the fantastic chef to use fresh ingredients straight from the earth.

La Brinda Villa is a tropical sanctuary in its own right, but it's also very well located: beautiful local beaches, excellent bars and restaurants, tailor-made bike rides, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fort de Galle and other activities.

This villa has a dedicated staff consisting of an exceptional chef, villa manager, housekeeper, pool attendant/gardener and security guard.
