This 6-bedroom villa is the ideal place for a quiet vacation in Italy's beautiful Umbria region. It's an old farmhouse, beautifully restored and decorated in warm, rich colors that reflect the subtle nuances of the Umbrian countryside.
Its major asset is its lush garden with over 3,000 plants that bloom at different times of the year, giving a superb display of colors that change with the seasons. Villa Caminata can accommodate up to 12 guests in the main villa and in the nearby elegant chalet in the gardens.

Situation
To reach the villa there are 3 km of white gravel road.
Please note that the roads are in good condition, but like all country roads, they are not suitable for low-slung cars.
Caminata has the unique advantage of being located in the center of Umbria, a region where the simple pleasures of country life meet the pleasures of art, history and architecture, not to mention fabulous cuisine and wine, and close proximity to the two neighboring regions of Lazio and Tuscany. Florence and Rome are a two-hour drive away, and Siena, Arezzo, Assisi, Gubbio, Todi and Orvieto are very close by. The region's capital, Perugia, is just 20 minutes away and offers a wealth of cultural activities, as do the other spectacular hilltop towns and villages, including Cortona and Perugia, as well as Montone.
