Situation

To reach the villa there are 3 km of white gravel road. Please note that the estate's roads are in very good condition, but sometimes steep and not very suitable for low-slung cars.
Santa Croce has the unique advantage of being located in the center of Umbria, a region where the simple pleasures of country life meet the pleasures of art, history and architecture, not to mention fabulous cuisine and wine, and close proximity to the two neighboring regions of Lazio and Tuscany. Florence and Rome are a two-hour drive away, and Siena, Arezzo, Assisi, Gubbio, Todi and Orvieto are very close by. The region's capital, Perugia, is just 20 minutes away and offers a wealth of cultural activities, as do the other spectacular hilltop towns and villages, including Cortona and Perugia, as well as Montone.
